What makes Dracatar so special? What's so different from all the other IT guys?
Dracatar does things differently. We don't just template solutions and mete out preset fixes, we tailor-make solutions suited to individual needs. When you come to us with a problem, we listen very carefully, paying particular attention to detail, taking notes along the way. Our team of experts then knits out three solutions and before we roll the best one out, we sit down with you again to choose among them. It doesn't end there though, we follow the implementation up with product training and support and our custom builds carry a minimum 2-year warranty.

What is your core business?
Innovation! Innovation is what we do. We develop solutions in agriculture, aquaculture, homes, healthcare, etc. It's all about automation. Deploying drones to deliver medicines in hard-to-reach areas, automating homes, automating tractors and harvesters, deploying drones to spray crops and/or monitor crop health, deploying drones for mapping, building purpose-specific computers and so on,... the list is endless.

Where are your offices located?
We are temporarily located on the farm in Kwekwe where product development is housed. On the farm, we test technology before it gets implemented in the field, that way you are guaranteed that the solution we provide you with actually works and has solid proof of concept.

Do you repair computers?
Yes we do. We repair networks and network equipment, servers, desktops, laptops, mobile phones, smart phones, tablets, printers, etc. We also source spares for all types of electronic equipment.

Why should I prefer a custom build over an OEM?
It's all about purpose by design. An OEM PC leaves the factory with a predetermined set of technical specifications, yoked with the term "model". Half the time, you get either more of less of the computing power you really need, worse off, for a price you never really bargained for. With a Dracatar custom build, you get a PC that is designed to give you the computing power you require when the PC is loaded most. When you give us a required set of specifications, we build a PC with the exact specifications as a benchmark minimum. Then against that, we will build a more powerful PC, one so powerful that at breaking point (when the hard drive is 75%+ full, RAM is 75%+ populated and all CPU cores are running at 85%+ capacity) the PC's performance matches the performance of the benchmark minimum. Sounds costly, right? Yes it does. Bot no, it's not, and how that's possible remains our trade secret. You get more value for your money and what's even better is that you are covered by a minimum 2-year warranty plus technical support.
